This week night I was to play three games with the new Bounce Lands deck I’ve been brainstorming on this blog.

Last night I got to try the Karoo / Jodah deck I highlighted last week.

Highlighting changes to one of my old standards: Rebels & Ephara.

Building a deck around Polymorph has always appealed to me. When built correctly, it turns a bad removal spell into Tinker.

My first ever EDH commander was Scion of the Ur-Dragon, back when I was working with a limited card pool and a student’s budget. As a result, I ran the full ten Bounce Lands, aka the Ravnica Karoos.

The best part about Type 4 is that you can have fun playing with people of all skill levels. Friends, enemies, lovers. As long as they know how to play (read: understand the stack), all you have to do is hand them a pile of broken cards and watch the fireworks fly.

In Type 4, Split Second cards are a trap. They look really interesting, at least until you play a few games.
